More than 15 thousand new jobs will be created in the field of cotton production in Azerbaijan, the press service of the Ministry of Economy reported.
In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev in connection with the need to enhance local production and create new jobs, the prospects for the development of the cotton-growing sphere, which is traditional for Azerbaijan, were discussed with representatives of enterprises involved in the production and processing of cotton.
Planned measures on stimulation and the increase in sown areas will provide an opportunity to create more than 15 thousand new jobs, thereby almost doubling the number of employees in this area, Trend writes.
