Law enforcement officers detained the suspect in the robbery at CEC chairman Ella Pamfilova’s house, the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, reported, noting that the detained is a native of one of the Central Asian republics born in 1983.
It was previously reported that the incident occurred on Friday night in the Istra urban district - an attacker entered the terrace of the head of the Central Election Commission, tased her several times and run away.
According to Pamfilova, the attacker was wearing a mask and gloves.
