The swimming season on Kurortnoye Lake of the resort city will open in early June, the head of Zheleznovodsk announced.
Kurortnoye lake of Zheleznovodsk is one of the most popular places for vacation in the Stavropol region. In early June, the swimming season starts at the lake in tourists and local residents’ joy.
“The pit for the lake was dug manually with shovels in 1954. And it regained its popularity after the extension and improvement of the Cascade Staircase. We expect a really hot swimming season,”
– head of the city Evgeny Bakulin said.
June is the ideal time to open the swimming season on Kurortnoye Lake in Zheleznovodsk.
Firstly, the crowds of tourists are not yet as numerous as in the middle of summer, which allows enjoying solitude and tranquility.
Secondly, the air temperature is not yet as high as in July or August, which makes staying on the lake more comfortable.
