The Syrian Minister of Culture, Isam Khalil, has promised to restore Palmyra, which has been completely liberated from militants today.
"We will work on an assessment of the damage to monuments of Palmyra inflicted by the terrorists, we will restore them and we promise that they will be like they were once again," TASS quoted him as saying.
In this regard, the Minister noted that some of the artifacts were taken from Palmyra before its capture.
