The quadripartite meeting of the leaders of Russia, Germany, France and Turkey gathering to discuss the Syrian settlement, began in Istanbul.
Before the talks, Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a meeting on the terrace of the palace for the joint photo session.
Following the talks, it is planned that the leaders will make statements for the press.
