An investment agreement on construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline was signed today in Ashgabat at the international consortium of shareholders of TAPI Pipeline Company Limited.
According to information, the initial budget for the project will exceed $200 million and it will be used to finance the next phase of the implementation of the TAPI gas pipeline. It also provides funding for detailed engineering of the route, studies on the environmental and social impacts on the environment and a number of work of other types, Trend reports.
