In an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza, Soviet and Russian opera singer, USSR People's Artist, Tamara Sinyavskaya, congratulated Azerbaijan on appointing republic's first lady Mehriban Aliyeva to the post of first Vice-President.
First of all, she stressed that Aliyev family is an example of patriotism. "I'm not a politician, but I'm very emotional about this event because I know their family for a long time. They all want to promote piece," she said.
In this connection, it's very important that Mehriban Aliyeva has officially become the second person in the state. "Mehriban Aliyeva is a woman who puts all of her heart, uses all of her skills, her beauty and delicacy, to enhance good-neighborly and friendly relations between all people, in particular, of course, between Russian and Azerbaijani people. I really hope that our relationship will be strengthened," famous opera singer said.
"I don't belittle the importance of Ilham Aliyev's work in the Russian direction, he does a lot of important things, but the appointment of Mehriban Aliyeva as first Vice-President - is a pride for Azerbaijan and the entire world, since she's the most worthy candidate for such an important post," she noted.
That is why Tamara Sinyavskaya congratulated everyone on this event. "I want to congratulate Mehriban Aliyeva. I'm very happy and I congratulate Azerbaijan on this," she concluded.
