Georgian authorities are planning to upgrade the TV tower in Tbilisi. They are ready to spend $ 10 mln to turn it into a tourist center with a restaurant and a viewing platform, the head of the city economic development service, Andriya Basilaya said.
“We are not going to sell the tower - it is a strategic object. We are thinking about a long-term, 25-year lease, but its terms can be reconsidered in the case of a reasonable proposal from the business,” Basilaya noted, Novosti-Georgia reports.
