In Chechnya, an investigation was initiated on the death of a 17-year-old resident of the Kurchaloevsky district, the press service of the republic's prosecutor's office reports.
According to the department, the teenager fell from the 12-meter minaret of a mosque under construction in the village of Ilskhan-Yurt. He died on the spot from injuries obtained.
The employees of the prosecutor’s office will have to assess the implementation of the legislation on the protection of the rights of minors and find out the causes and conditions of the accident.
