 Tehran and Dushanbe expand energy partnership

Iran and Tajikistan signed a cooperation agreement on expansion of economic, technological, scientific, social, and cultural cooperation at a Tuesday meeting between the Iranian Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian and his Tajik counterpart Usmonzoda Usmonali Yunusali in Tehran.

The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the 11th meeting of Iran-Tajikistan Joint Economic, Technological and Cultural Committee, ISNA reports.

Tehran and Dushanbe inked several cooperation documents in fields of banking, custom, trade, energy, culture, education, transportation and media on Tuesday, the Mehr News agency reports.
