The Iranian parliament said it will introduce a measure in reaction to Washington “adventurism” in the Middle East, ISNA reported.
"The U.S. needs to get this message clearly. Their undertakings represent a confrontation of Iran and the parliament will resist with all its might," the parliamentary speaker Ali Larijani said.
The US Congress is considering new sanctions to punish Iran over its ballistic missile program. The sanctions measure, S. 722, passed the Senate last month in an overwhelming 98-2 vote, in an effort to punish Iran.
