A citizen of Bahrain was detained in the Zvartnots airport in Yerevan last night,’’ the press service of the Armenian police reports.
The reason for his detention was a circumstance that he was on the wanted list on charges of attempted murder, illegal trafficking in explosives, causing damage to public and private property, terrorism and involvement in riots.
Now the suspect is in one of Yerevan's temporary detention cells. The Prosecutor General of Armenia and the Interpol National Central Bureau have already been informed about his detention, Novosti Armenia reports.
