There is no systematic risk to banking system, Central Bank of Russia reports

The Central Bank of Russia does not see the emergence of systematic risks to the banking system. According to the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank, Vasily Pozdyshev, the situation is difficult, but it can be controlled, which is why the leadership of the financial regulator does not see any systematic risk.

"Despite the increased volatility of the exchange rate, there is no outflow of deposits, as there was at the beginning of last year, and this is a very good sign," he noted.

Among the main problems that may arise in the banking system, the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank named the credit risk, because the balance of Russian banks has a considerable amount of foreign currency loans, Interfax reports.
