Since December 17, the Rosselkhoznadzor allows the import of tomatoes and apples into Russia from three more Azerbaijani enterprises.
"Rosselkhoznadzor allows the import of tomatoes and apples from three Azerbaijani enterprises into Russia from December 17, 2021. The decision was made following the results of phytosanitary monitoring of enterprises growing tomatoes and apples carried out by the Azerbaijani competent department, as well as under the guarantees of the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan", the message says.
In total, 214 Azerbaijani enterprises and one cooperative (for the import of tomatoes), as well as 79 enterprises (for the import of apples) have permission to import into Russia.
