The extraordinary presidential elections scheduled for November 20 in Kazakhstan are launching a radical restart of the country's entire political system, the head of the republic, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
"According to the previously announced electoral schedule and in accordance with the country's Constitution, today I signed a decree scheduling early presidential elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan for November 20, 2022. These elections will launch the electoral cycle, following which a radical restart of the entire political system will be carried out", the head of Kazakhstan commented.
Further, the president drew attention to the fact that this will allow "to concentrate on solving long-term objectives to ensure sustainable economic growth and improve the citizens' welfare and quality of life".
