A toll road is planned to be built in the south of Russia in order to connect Kislovodsk (the Stavropol Territory) and Sochi (the Krasnodar Territory), the Minister of Construction, Transport and Road Management Stavropol Igor Vasiliev said today.
"We have submitted projects to the government of the Russian Federation. It is a bypass of the city of Kislovodsk and the city of Sochi. The road will be through the territory of Kislovodsk to the village of Mirny. It is about 7-8 km, as well as through Karachay-Cherkessia and the Krasnodar Territory – about 48 km. These regions have already supported the project," Interfax-South cites Vasilyev as saying.
