The minister for tourism and folk crafts of the Dagestani Republic, Magomed Isayev, instructed to prepare measures to remove barriers for tourists on the Russian-Azerbaijani border, a spokesman of the ministry said.
"Magomed Isayev instructed the staff of the ministry to develop a document to remove barriers at the exit and entrance of tourists at the Russian-Azerbaijani border crossing points, to study the possibility and justify the economic feasibility of air flights from Makhachkala to Baku, as well as of the launch of the Derbent - Baku express train," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
A working group of specialists from the Dagestani and Azerbaijani tourism ministries will study the tourism infrastructure, prices and the development of tourist routes of interest to Azerbaijani and Russian tourists, the representative of the Dagestani Ministry of Tourism added.
