The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Crimea, Sergey Shakhov, said today that tourists were advised to temporarily refuse to visit the Crimean mountains after the incident with the blockade of more than 300 tourists on Ai-Petri plateau.
“According to meteorologists, today and tomorrow snow avalanches are expected in the Crimean mountains. We strongly recommend tourists to refrain from the mountain routes, ”RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
