In the Takhtamukaysky district of Adygea, a passenger train collided with a truck, the emergency services of the republic reported.
The tragedy occurred at 2:57 pm at an unregulated railway crossing near Shengiy station on the Enem – Goryachiy Kluch section of the Krasnodar region of the North Caucasus Railway.
According to the available information, a driver of the KamAZ departed for the crossing in front of the approaching passenger train No. 346 Adler - Nizhnevartovsk. A machnist applied emergency braking to avoid a collision, but it failed.
