U.S. President Donald Trump said his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan assured him that any remaining ISIS terrorist group fighters in Syria will be eliminated.
"President @RT_Erdogan of Turkey has very strongly informed me that he will eradicate whatever is left of ISIS in Syria....and he is a man who can do it plus, Turkey is right 'next door.' Our troops are coming home!" Trump wrote on his Twitter page.
Trump appeared to be elaborating on a phone call he had earlier yesterday with Erdogan. They discussed Trump's withdrawal of the U.S. troops, AFP reported.
