Republican US presidential candidate Donald Trump declared himself the chief defender of Israel and promised to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem if he will be elected.
"The fact is I would like to see it moved, I would like to see it in Jerusalem," RIA Novosti cited him as saying.
"There's nobody more pro-Israel than I am. We have to protect Israel," Trump stressed. "An agreement imposed by the United Nations would be a total and complete disaster," he said.
"The United States must oppose this resolution and use the power of our veto, which I will use as president 100%. When people ask why, it’s because that’s not how you make a deal," Donald Trump noted.
