One of the members of the jury that sentenced Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to death for the terrorist attack during the Boston marathon in 2013, does not doubt the correctness of the verdict. He spoke about it in an interview after the announcement of the verdict, his name is not reported and his face was shaded during the broadcast.
"Even now, I think we decided on the appropriate punishment," RIA Novosti quotes his words from an interview on CBS as saying.
The juror noted that all jury members hide their identities for security reasons and added that he would not participate in the process if he had the choice again.
According to juror, the fact that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was under the strong influence of his older brother Tamerlan can't justify him.
