Tsipras swears oath to President as Prime Minister of Greece

Today Alexis Tsipras, the SYRIZA party leader, who won a landslide victory in recent days at the parliamentary elections, has been sworn in as Prime Minister of Greece, Reuters reports.

He swore the oath to President Prokopis Pavlopoulos at the presidential palace in Athens. Tsipras said that he would follow the Constitution and the laws of Greece, as well as serve the interests of the Greek people, Tass reports.
