Tunisia has become the third country in Africa after Algeria and Guinea, where the Russian anti-coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V was registered, the country's health ministry informed today.
"The Sputnik V vaccine has been temporarily registered for one year as part of the emergency procedure for distribution in the Tunisian market," the press release reads, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the document, the registration was issued based on an assessment of the vaccine clinical trials’ results.
