The Turkish deputy prime minister, Numan Kurtulmus, has dismissed reports that any naval vessels have gone missing, Reuters reports.
However, he did not give any further details as to their current location.
The commander of the Turkish navy Admiral Veysel Kosele also remains missing, having been out of contact since Friday evening, The Times reported today.
