Turkey plans to host a "3+3" meeting

Turkey intends to host the next regional meeting of the "3+3" platform on its territory. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced the corresponding plans of the republic.

During a telephone conversation with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, the head of the Turkish state, noted that Ankara continues its efforts to bring peace and stability to the Caucasus, RIA Novosti reports.

"According to Erdoğan, Ankara plans to hold another meeting within the framework of the 3 + 3 platform in Turkey, developed by him jointly with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev," RIA Novosti quoted the office of the Turkish leader.

Let us remind you that, an introductory meeting of the Consultative Regional Platform in the "3 + 3" format (which includes three South Caucasus countries - Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, as well as three neighboring countries - Russia, Turkey, Iran) was held in Moscow on December 10, 2021 - so far without the participation of Georgia.
