Turkey proposes to create OIC Arbitration Center led by Saudi Arabia

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan proposed the formation of a body within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to solidify cooperation against terrorism, Anadolu Agency reports.

Addressing the 13th summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul, Erdogan stressed his belief that terrorism is the largest problem confronting the Muslim world.

"Instead of waiting for other forces to intervene against terror incidents and other crises that occur in Muslim countries, we must produce the solution ourselves through the Islamic alliance," he said.

Erdogan reminded that millions of Muslims were killed by al-Qaeda. “Now Daesh and Boko Haram serve the same dirty plans. Apart from a few attacks for show, all these terror organizations oppress and harm all Muslims,” he stressed.

According to the Turkish President, "Islam is a religion of peace and compromise".
