‘‘Despite the different attitude towards the crisis in Syria, Moscow and Ankara can work together to provide the stability, unity and territorial integrity of Syria,’’ Turkish Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioglu said after a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov yesterday in Sochi.
"We hope that Russia will work with us on the basis of these principles," RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
‘’Russia has a slightly different opinion on the reasons for the chaos in Syria. We disagree about whom is responsible for this. However, we agree that the current situation in Syria isn’t acceptable, and our two countries are aware of threats of terrorism from Syria,’’ Sinirlioglu said.
