Turkey's Trabzon airport resumes its work

The airport in Turkey's province of Trabzon has resumed its work, according to a message of the airport's press service.

The message says that the consequences of the incident with Pegasus aircraft have been eliminated.

The Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737-800, with 168 people on board, left the runway after landing at Trabzon Airport on January 13.

Turkish authorities have used a large crane to recover a passenger plane that skidded off a runway in northern Turkey and came to a halt on a cliff edge metres from the Black Sea.

All passengers and crew were evacuated and no one was injured.
