The shooting range incident during NATO exercises in Norway would not be left unanswered, Turkish Defense Minister Nurettin Canikli said.
Canikli added that NATO will receive a worthy response from Turkey in connection with the incident, Turkish media reported.
A Norwegian was removed from the exercise following the incident, while NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg and Norwegian Defense Minister Frank Bakke-Jensen issued an apology for the chart listing President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the Turkish Republic's founder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk as "enemies" during the drill.
Erdogan added that such behavior does not correspond to the spirit of cooperation and alliance between Turkey and NATO.
