Turkey and Israel have made progress toward finalizing a reconciliation deal. The Turkish Foreign Ministry said that the Turkish and Israeli negotiating teams met in London yesterday.
"They made progress towards overcoming differences and finalizing the agreement," the department noted.
"They agreed that the deal will be finalized in the next meeting which will be convened very soon," TASS cited the statement of the Turkish Foreign Ministry as saying.
The ministry specified that the meeting was headed by the Turkish Foreign Ministry Under Secretary, Feridun Sinirlioglu, the Israeli Prime Minister's Special Envoy, Joseph Ciechanover, and Israel's Acting Chairman of the National Security Council, Jacob Nagel.
