A Turkish dry cargo ship has hit the piers of the bridge under construction in the Kerch Strait on March 19, a source in the Management of Federal Highways "Taman" said.
The "Crimean Bridge" information center noted that "changing the piers will not affect the date of putting the technological bridge into operation," TASS reports.
The crew of the ship did not sustain any injuries, FlashCrimea reports.
The ‘Lira’ motor ship under the Panamanian flag belongs to Turkuaz Shipping Corp. The dry cargo ship was put on raid at Taganrog’s port.
