The meeting of the National Security Council of Turkey will be held today in the presidential residence in Istanbul.
It is expected that the meeting, which will be held under the leadership of the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will discuss the situation in Turkey after the attempted coup, which took place on the night of July 15 this year, Trend reports with reference to the Turkish newspaper Haber 7.
The last Security Council meeting was held on August 18, with the participation of the head of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Army General Hulusi Akar and the Prime Minister Binali Yildirim.
