Turkish investors have priority to invest in Iran’s health sector: Iranian Minister

Iran gives priority to Turkish companies when it comes to attracting foreign investment in the health sector, such as in construction of hospitals, Iran’s Health Minister Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi said, Tasnim reports.

In a meeting with Iran’s embassy staff in Ankara, Hashemi highlighted the abundant opportunities for foreign investors available in Iran, as in the healthcare industry as well as educational and medical fields.

“Turkish investors have priority for investment and active partnership (in Iran),” the minister stated.

Building hospitals in Iran is an option for foreign investors, Qazizadeh Hashemi added, pointing to Turkey’s experience in the construction of “chain hospitals” that stimulate medical tourism, create jobs for locals, and provide modern health services for both local and foreign patients.
