One Turkish soldier was killed and four were wounded in an armed attack by PKK militants at the Gerkitepe Base defense zone in the district of Çukurca in southeastern Hakkari province, the Daily Sabah reported with reference to the Turkish military.
The attack took place around 9:15 p.m. local time on Wednesday, the statement said, adding that the four wounded soldiers were not in critical condition.
