A Turkish soldier has succumbed to wounds after being shot during PKK attacks in the southeastern Sirnak province, a security source said, Anadolu Agency reports.
A group of terrorists attacked police and gendarmerie headquarters as well as police housing with long-barreled guns and rocket launchers in the province’s Beytussebap district, an unnamed security source said late Saturday, speaking on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the press.
A soldier injured in the attack later succumbed to wounds in hospital.
