Two chain reaction accidents in Iran injure 11 people

Two chain reaction accidents occurred on the Karaj-Qazvin highway in Iran, director of the Emergency Medical Center of the Alborz Province Mehrdad Babai said.

One person died and 11 people were injured as a result of the accidents.

Four people were injured in the first road accident in which a bus and a truck collided, Babai said, adding that one person died in a hospital.

Two pickups and several cars collided in the second accident, as a result of which eight injured people were hospitalized.

Babai noted that the situation on the roads in the province worsened as a result of torrential rains, Trend reported.
