Five workers ended up in the working millstones of a crusher at the factory of the Kazphosphate branch in the Zhambyl region, Kazakh media report about the tragedy.
According to the KTK TV channel, a 28-year-old welder and a 35-year-old mechanic died at the scene of the emergency. The remaining three workers miraculously survived, but received various injuries.
It is specified that the incident took place at the crushing and screening plant of the branch of Kazphosphate LLP. According to preliminary data, the workers fell under the crusher's millstones at the moment when it was being repaired: the equipment was turned off, but suddenly came into action.
