Armenians living in the United States cheered with songs near the Azerbaijani embassy in Washington, where the staff of the diplomatic mission presented posters dedicated to the Khojaly tragedy.
On the 31st anniversary of the Khojaly genocide, Armenians resorted to provocation in front of the Azerbaijani embassy in the United States, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the U.S Khazar Ibrahim said on Twitter.
"Armenians cheer with songs brutal killing of defenseless Azerbaijani kids, women and elderly during Khojaly genocide this very day in front of our Embassy in Washington DC. What kind of mentality is this?!" the envoy said.
It is worth noting that the embassy employees presented the information from the U.S. Congress library, distributed by the world press. The horrors of the tragedy were presented on posters to inform the citizens of the country.
