U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State receives Pashinyan in Yerevan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, George Kent, in Yerevan, according to the press office of the government.

Pashinyan noted that Kent's visit to Armenia is a good opportunity for discussing the agenda of bilateral relations and avenues for the development of cooperation.

Kent, in turn, said that he is happy to visit Armenia during the period of changes in the country. The U.S. is interested that Armenia achieves success in the development of democracy, economic progress as well as in other priority domains for the country," News.am cited the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State as saying.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the ways for resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the current international situation and regional challenges.
