The United States is not going to respond to statements of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, U.S. State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said.
"We heard the statement, and it’s just something where we’re not going to respond to something that every government official from around the world has to say," she stressed.
"I think we’ve been very clear in terms of our policy regarding Iran and our concerns and our continued concerns about Iran’s bad behavior around the world," Nauert added.
Earlier, Khamenei said that Iran would not talk with the United States.
