On Friday 1st September, the European Union of Gymnastics welcomed Mrs Lisa Worthmann (GER) as the new General Director in its Lausanne headquarters. The relevant information is posted on the UEG official website.
Mrs Worthmann previously worked for the Swiss Gymnastics Federation as Head of Events and has valuable experience in organising major events as Director of the 2016 Artistic Gymnastics European Local Organising Committee in Bern (SUI) and Event Manager at Berlin 2011. She also knows the procedures of international gymnastics well as she worked at the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) for a while, the message reads.
President Guelzec welcomed the new General Director: “The personality and the qualities of Lisa Worthmann are recognised by all actors in European gymnastics. The UEG is proud and very pleased to be able to count on her experience and competences in terms of management and human relations.”
