London imposed a ban on the import of silver, wood products and high-quality products, including caviar, from Russia, the Department for International Trade said on Thursday.
The new sanctions announced today by International Trade Minister Anne-Marie Trevelyan and Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak will include a ban on imports of silver, wood products and high-quality products from Russia, including caviar.
In addition to this, the UK will increase by 35 percentage points tariffs on goods from Russia and Belarus worth around £130m, including diamonds and rubber.
