UK refuses to share information on IS positions in Syria

The UK has refused to hand over information on positions of the Islamic State terrorist group in Syria to Russia, Russian Ambassador to the UK Alexander Yakovenko said.

He noted that work with the British on the Syrian issue is under way, but so far it has not been very successful.

"About a week ago we raised the issue of Britain’s collaboration with us in terms of identifying targets to be hit in Syria to destroy IS. Unfortunately, I received a negative answer," the ambassador said, adding that the British said they would not cooperate with Russia on this issue.
