Iran's bank Mellat will receive $4 billion in compensation by mid-May from the UK.
"The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom ruled in favor of our bank, which will receive four billion dollars in compensation from the UK by the end of spring," the Iranian newspaper Financial Tribune cited the Chief executive officer of Bank Mellat Ali Rastegar as saying.
In 2014, Mellat filled the claim in the London High Court against the UK Treasury to compensate a loss of profits, TASS reminds.
