British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said that the country is closely monitoring the humanitarian situation in Syria and urges members of the international community to intensify pressure on the government of Bashar al-Assad in order to simplify the delivery of aid to civilians who are suffering from military actions.
"The international community, in particular Russia with its unique influence, should put pressure on Assad's regime in respect of raising the siege and full humanitarian access," the head of the Foreign Office stated.
