The ceasefire in Syria is generally being observed and it allows the delivery to be organized of humanitarian assistance to the populations who need it, the coordinator of UN humanitarian operations in Syria Yacoub El Hillo said.
"The ceasefire has been lasting for two weeks in Syria with violations and incidents, but it is being maintained. This has a direct impact on the lives of million of Syrians in the country. Let's continue to work on it in order to make the regime permanent," RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
