UN: over one million people in Palestine at risk of starvation

Over one mln people in Palestine are expected to face death and starvation by mid-July, according to a joint report by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Food Program (WFP).

“Over one million people - half the population of Gaza - are expected to face death and starvation by mid-July,” the report reads.

The UN agencies emphasized the need for additional investment in integrated solutions to ensure greater food security.
