The UN does not expect a reduction of migration flows in the near future, 3000 people per day are arriving in southern Europe.
The United Nations High Commission for Refugees believes that all EU countries should share the burden and responsibility for the refugees from the East, giving them the shelter they asked for. UN experts have stated that this is the most terrible crisis of migration since the end of World War II.
"They come in large groups of 300-400 people, and then go on by train or by bus to Serbia. We expect that this inflow and this route will remain valid for 3000 people per day," the representative of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees Melissa Fleming said.
"We believe that if you take the right measures, Europe will be able to cope with this problem. It is significantly higher than last year. But it will not be able to turn Europe upside down," Arka quotes Fleming as saying.
