The "United National Movement" party demands the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources of Georgia Gigla Agulashvili to answer parliament's questions related to the sale of the territory adjacent to the National Botanical Garden in Tbilisi.
The opposition and NGOs believe that the City Hall sold this territory because of the interest of the former Prime Minister of Georgia, Bidzina Ivanishvili.
"Based on the high public interest and the current protest, we demand to immediately gather a meeting of the Natural Resources Committee," MP of the United National Movement Zurab Melikishvili stated.
